Tokyo Ghoul: re to end soon! Staff will Focus on Anime production?
Howdy Fans, to the fans who hate spoilers! You can directly jump to the very end of this blog. I’ve written about “Tokyo Ghoul: re Anime” about there. In between the blog I will discuss about the ending of Tokyo Ghoul: re manga.
So, recently the Chapter 143 of Tokyo Ghoul was released and this chapter made us hyped for the next chapter and this isn’t the very first time Sui Ishida surprised us. He might be plotting something deep inside. Well, for now all we know is we just saw something Unexpected and we are hating the manga-writers for that.
Unfortunately, those who hate spoilers need to visit the end or you will get stuck in the Summary of Tokyo ghoul: re which might act as a spoiler for y’all.
Tokyo Ghoul Wikia recently explained the Chapter 143 of Tokyo Ghoul: re manga (you should read it just to confirm what you saw in manga and what you got in your mind is exactly the same)
Ken Kaneki narrates the opening lines of the chapter, stating that many things would’ve been different for him if he hadn’t met Rize Kamishiro, life is just a series of choices and the results of said choices have to be accepted whether one likes it or not. He adds that one single choice is enough to derail one’s entire life.
At the 24th Ward, Kaneki sees the bodies of countless White Suits. Miza Kusakari notices his presence and asks if the Provisions Squad is with him. Kaneki says only he returned and sees the lifeless body of Naki. Miza states that Naki is resting in peace after fighting his heart out till the end. Miza tells Kaneki that the escaping ghouls have passed through Routes 20 and 21 and should be at Route E14. Kaneki makes haste to said location.
In a flashback, Kichimura Washuu informs Juuzou Suzuya about a top-secret mission to be carried out by the S3 Squad and Oggai Squads. The mission is called “Koryugi” which more or less means boxing in the enemy and slaughtering them all. When Suzuya complains about the mission being a burden, Kichimura states that if the enemy is left alone to gain power, the CCG’s operational costs will skyrocket, including the CCG’s medical treatment budget for wounded officers. Immediately thinking of Yukinori Shinohara, Suzuya is won over by Kichimura. Suzuya meets up with Hanbee Abara to explain the mission to him and asks him to call Keijin Nakarai. He informs the two to prepare their wills. In the present, Suzuya comes face-to-face with Kaneki.
The two clash, with Suzuya telling Kaneki, while referring to him as Haise, that he is determined to kill him and Kaneki acknowledges that Suzuya won’t be standing down. Kaneki tells Hinami Fueguchi to go ahead of him. Suzuya and Hanbee activate their Arata Joker and Arata II koukaku armors to prepare for battle. Kaneki enters into his kakuja state and tells himself that he has lived till this day to protect his companions. Kaneki is next seen lying on the ground limbless, severely injured and defeated. Suzuya and Hanbee are taken away with heavy injuries for treatment.
Kichimura walks up to Kaneki and tells him that he, even though putting up a good fight, has lost. He adds that he took the liberty of sealing off Route E14 to prevent any ghouls from escaping. Kichimura adds that Kaneki has reached his limit and can’t do anything anymore. While Kaneki tries to comprehend what had just happened, Hajime Hazuki brings the heads of Shio Ihei and Rikai Souzu, commenting that they put up a good fight.
Horrified and anguished, Kaneki is mocked further by Hajime and is left with him by Kichimura for “special treatment”. Touka Kirishima and the escaping ghouls are stopped dead in their tracks by the S3 Squad, who report that they have encountered the fleeing ghouls and are moving in to exterminate them. The chapter ends on a sour note; Goat is finished.
Now coming to the main Topic,
Home manga magazine Young Jump is planning a major announcement with Tokyo Ghoul:Re. The end of the series and/or launch of a third manga? A third anime? The magazine will reveal the plans on October 12th.
According to sources, Tokyo Ghoul: re will end soon and this chapter focused on Ken Kaneki getting beaten up. Some days ago, Some staff member of Tokyo Ghoul: re revealed a picture of Touka. Unfortunately, from the picture he drew of Touka I get such bad vibes, she looks like shes dressed for a funeral… Back then it was said, it is because TouKen’s child will die. But, now Kaneki getting beaten up this badly, everything else makes sense now.
Ken Kaneki will die in Tokyo Ghoul: re and his son/daughter will avenge him by making a world both for humans and ghouls, where both of them can live peacefully. It’s just a theory, anyway.
Other than that, the studio behind Tokyo Ghoul: re has some announcement to make. But from the leaks we’ve got. It’s most probably about the ending of Tokyo Ghoul: re and the production of Tokyo Ghoul: re anime. Because, it will be a burden if manga’s story gets too much away from that of the anime. So in order to keep up with both of them, the studio will plan to release an anime soon.
There are things that are just adding more possibilities for the new anime season of Tokyo Ghoul. Well, it is said that each time when an anime get a Live Action, it gets a new season (If and only If the story is incomplete). And, this thing is applicable on most of the Anime’ (Shingeki no Kyojin).
Well, things are in favor of us, Tokyo Ghoul Anime fans. However, I’m still waiting for an official confirmation on this topic.
That’s all for today, Thanks for reading!
